My A7n8x will not boot from a RAID 0 configuration. Hopefully someone out there can offer some info.
The scenario:
I recently installed 2 WD raptors and setup a Raid 0 configuration. I was able to image my current drive to the Raptor drive(s). All the data/partiontions/info seem to be intact and even visible to other machines on my network, yet, the machine will not boot when I unplug the IDE drive. I have tried every boot sequence available in the CMOS to no avail. I'd like to add that there is no specific SATA device listed in the CMOS boot sequence, only SCSI. I assume this is how the mobo recognizes SATA in the hierarchy.
The bios, device drivers and SATA utility are the lastest from Nvidia.
If anyone out there has an idea or some input, it would be greatly appreciated.
