Hi guys

I got A8N-E few weeks ago and havex2 4200+. I am having troulbe running 1T command rate. Is there any solution to this?

At default setting BIOS sets at 2T and I tried going into bios and manually set it to 1T, but in sandra(the latest release) it read 2T. this is at stock setting.

Also if I set it it at 1T and overclock it then It will hang at Pcamark04 and 05 ram bench.

Please help guys.

Hi sulu.

I have an EPOX 8KDA3J and a SEMPRON 3100.

With 1 or 2 sticks of CRUCIAL PC-3200 double sided it wouldnt run at 1-T or 200 mhz.

It would run 2-T and 166.

Trying to load XP PRO I had the memory set to 200 and it would give me an error while trying to instal until I set the memory to 166.

I bought to sticks of CRUCIAL PC-3200 (8.T) single sided sticks and now she runs 1-T and 200.

I dont know if this helps, but Im sure someone will come along with an answer.

I run OCZ Gold VX at 1T without problem at FSB 228 (DDR456) 2-3-3-8 1T and I saw memory bandwidth increasing accordingly with Sandra. I read sometime ago that maybe Sandra is reporting the timing wrong. Just do a bench of memory bandwidth with Sandra to compare.

I also read that our Asus A8N-E is having major problems with FSB 250+ and 1T even with memory dividers. Not sure though.

Hi guys,

thanks for the replies. I really apprecaite it.

I will go home and some benching with sandra at default setting and then changing to 1T to see if it makes any difference.

Also winr, actually I am using single sided sticks. I have both single side and double sticks but I am using singsided sticks because I tested these to do 240HTT without using memory divisor as well(memtest86).
However I would rather use memory divisor(333) and be able to do 1T because I've heard 1T more important than higer memory speed.

sulu, what voltage are you running the ram at?
I have 2x512 of the ballistix Crucial at 2.8 volts, and it runs at 1t and 2-2-2-8 fine.

Hi runestone,

At default speed I run with default voltage. When I oclock I run with 2.8V.

Maybe I'll try the double sided stick at home today to see if they will do 1T with 2.8V at default speed
