Hey, im trying to figure out if changing the multiplier for my cpu clock will affect my performance in the manner described below....
currently:
233 x 11 = 2563MHz w/ DDR @ 233MHz
consider:
242 * 10.5 = 2541MHz w/ DDR @ 242MHz
Does using the non-integer multipliers (i.e. 9.5,10.5) decrease total system performance such that the increase in memory access speed doesn't matter? Does the memory need to be synched to integer multiples (i.e. 9,10,11) of the HTT bus speed to achieve maximum performance?
Which of the two configurations above do you think will yield the best overall system performance?
