A8N32 BIOS Mumbo Jumbo

Hi! I'm trying to OC my computer. It's running well at stock speeds. I just have a quick question about the chipset and memory.

In the Advance Chipset options, there's K8 to NB, and NB to SB options. Are those the numbers times the CPU freq? It's confusing that there's 2. Should they both be around 1000 then?

my CPU is at 250 x 9 (opteron175) at 1.3v. So the K8 to NB and NB to SB should be at 4x right?

Also, I have Mushkin redline pc4000 mem. How do I set it to run at 250 while everything else runs at regular?

I set the memclock thingie to 250 but that got all messed up. I so set that to 200 (to run 1:1 with cpu, right?) and lowered the cpu multiplier to 9. Is that right?

Anyways, I'm confused. Help me OC my system

On my premium the memclock of 400 (should be default) means 1:1, you can verify the speeds using CPU-Z.

Don't go over 1000 for the HTT so set the htt multiplier according to your CPU frequency to keep it under 1000.

Hey, you are building my computer! I have my 175 and A8N32, going to fire them up tonight with some OCZ plat rev2 but the Redlines are on the way. I'll be watching for your posts because all those BIOS settings are bewildering to me, the manual is technically accurate but completely useless. What kind of cooling are you using? I would love hit to 10x250 below 1.45v for 24/7 BOINC crunching.
