I just swapped out my GF2 GTS for an Abit GeForce4 Ti4200, and noticed a strange "flickering" of the screen that gets worse when there is HD activity or when moving the mouse. Changing refresh rates did not make a difference. Flickering is not entirely the correct word, as the screen does not go black at all. It is more like some sort of interference.
Any ideas how to get rid of this?
My GF2 does not have this issue. I did clip out the low-pass filter capacitors on my GF2, but can't recall seeing this flickering before I did that either.
On that note...I think I can figure out which capacitors are part of the low-pass filters on the GF4 (on the back), but was wondering if anyone knows of a web source dealing with the GF4 low-pass filter?
