Abit KT7-RAID powerup problem

I'm havin' a huge problem that's really agravating me.

I need to power my system up twice before it works. The first time I powre it up... the system will hang... you hear the drives running... the keyboard lights up... but no signal goes to my monitor. I then need to pull out the power plug... reconnect it and power the system up again before it boots.

I have the same problem when i hit the reset button or when i change bios settings... again i need to pull the plug reconnect and power on again.

Does anyone know what's going on here? How I can solve this problem?

The setup is as follows:

Abit KT7-RAID
Antec 300W PS
Tbird 900

Set you ram settings in the bios to "Turbo". This solved that problem for me. Hope it helps.

This will sound stupid but unplug any USB device. My system would not boot until my APC UPS was not connected to the system via USB. The fix was to install a USB pci card and not use the usb ports on the mobo.
