'Above the fold' hot deals?

I surf at 1280x1024, however for the last few months it's rare that I see more than a couple of user submitted hot deals without scrolling down. I know this has had a negative impact on my experience in this forum. The pinned topics have spun out of control. Sorry for posting this when it's not a hot deal, but I thought it better to post than simply remove this site from my bookmarks and never return. If I were forum mgmt., I'd want this feedback. Please limit the sponsored and other pinnned topics! I want user submitted hot deals!

Not to mention that some of the sponsored hot deals are not hot deals and thus the subjects are almost insulting to the well informed and simply misleading to new members.

yeah 10 sticky topics is a bit out of control. It was never this bad before! 50% of topics listed on the first page aren't even hot deals. While this thread may be off-topic so are some of the sticky "Hot-Deals"

yep... rather annoying. Stickies really lose its purpose after weeks of the same crap.
