you can't just assume the ratio will be 10:1 everywhere ......
This must be a couple days out because there is literally nothing showing up on the doppler for the northeast. Plus if it's that system down in Texas, there's no guarrantee it's going to come far enough north to create snow. It looks like mainly a warm front so more likely rain I'd guess.
And this is bad?I hope the storm swings up into Michigan... we are way low on snowfall for the year.
I'm willing to bet we won't get more than an inch.
Where you located?
I just checked wunderground.com and looked at the latest date they have forcasted. Big storm on the east coast. How many inches? Dunno yet, but I like shocksyde, I believe him. We are all going to die!!!!
You can look at your total precipitation in liquid inches and then multiply it by 10 to get snowfall amounts. Say goodbye to MD for a while.

To all:
Open the link. Find your location. Use key along left to see how many inches of liquid precipitation are forecast to fall on your area. Multiply by 10. This equals your possible snow total.
Example: Baltimore, MD - 2.5" liquid x 10 = Over 2 feet of snow
Why can't we get a snowstorm on Sunday night!
0.10" x 10 = 1.0" EPIC snowfall OMG! :'(

Yeah, it is bad. My main reason is that it is cold outside. Having cold weather is pointless without having snow IMO. Additionally I actually like driving on snow, its kinda fun...And this is bad?
