And I'm jealous. I want an epic snow storm. We've had a lot of storms this year, but they all dump 4-6" and then it melts through the week until the next one comes along and dumps 4-6".

Just put the General Altimax Arctic's on the rear of the GTO*, Consumer Reports rated them 2nd best snow tires. I still plan on driving to PA tomorrow to go skiing this weekend.

*i have "winter" tires in the front which have never had much of a problem turning or stopping in the snow, the problem with this car has always been getting started. so i'm not totally mismatching tires.

Wow I wish they did that here lol. I would get way more done too, less distractions.

1 inch, 1 foot, 5 feet, freezing rain, hail, blizzard.... either way, no excuse not to be at work unless you're sick or you took the day off with approval.

School buses do sometimes get cancelled though if the roads are VERY bad, or if it's VERY cold (I think the threshold is like -45C or below and there's a max of like 3 times in a year).

Current observations show precip has reached the ground about 2/3 the way up VA. Can't trust radars as they show precip that isn't hitting the ground (evaporating)
