Accepted? I never got it!

I ordered Dark Age of Camelot from Amazon last week for $20.
Today I checked my package via USPS and under checkpoint status it says "ACCEPTED"
What do you mean accepted? does it mean the postal office got it and my game is in a warehouse, or did some punk took my game?
It said aceepted at 9:16am in San Francisco but I never heard my door bell ring. :| :|
So, for those of you that had experience with USPS tracking, can you tell me what exactly does accepted means?

Probably means the same thing as delivered.

accepted could mean USPS accepted it from the sender.

This is whats so confusing about the word "accepted".
It could mean accepted as in delivered or means something else.
I'm hoping somebody that got something from USPS can clarify the word for me.

I'm worried over this because it has passed the estimated ship time.

don't forget about holiday traffic and the fact that mailmen don't work sundays/holidays

I hope they are just busy over the holiday, because I really want to try out that game.

But can't they use a better description like "In warehouse".
