Accidently merged User\Username\Downloads folder...

So I was setting up a new system today and moving the user\mydocuments user\downloads\ folders to a second hard drive. Unfortunately, it seems I made User\Downloads and User\Desktop the same folder...is there any way to repair this? I dug through the registry and couldn't find anything.

If there is no UNDO available, I would just start manually moving files to the correct folder. You can do this by batches, i.e., tag the files you want moved, and then move them as a group.

Do you mean they got set to the same folder so that Windows special 'My documents' folder and 'Downloads' folder both point to the same directory?

In Windows 7 you can just right click 'Documents' or 'Downloads' and set what folders to include in them.. Sounds like you are on Vista though? Did you try TweakUI?
