and in an hour or so the bars and clubs of america will spill out legions of drunks onto the road and there will be more folks grieving in a few hours, they don't know it yet but it's going to happen. could be you, could be me. it's sad but practically acceptable here in the good old USA to go out and get wasted and drive home. it's more acceptable to drink than it is to smoke... what a joke. sorry for the (opinionated) rant but it's frustrating to know it'll never stop and a that a kid with his whole life ahead of him is dead... one victim every 32 minutes on average in America. senseless.

I remember reading many of his posts and actually having great admiration for the guy, he finished college in an incredible short amount of time while also working. I am trying to do the same thing so many times I felt identified by him and many of his posts.
It's sad though, at times like these...all of that seems very pointless. .. being buried in books and studying when I can be spending time with my friends and family and making sure that they know how much I care about them.
Richard, although I did not meet you in person, I could tell you were a smart, caring person, who wanted to live his life to the fullest and not waste any time.
You had such a great life ahead of you. It is indeed a sad day for this community. You left your stamp in anandtech and I am pretty sure you will leave an irreplaceable void in these forums.
