So glad to hear an update! Your strength is truly inspiring, and I appreciate your sharing your journey.Well I am still here, Cancer remains stable, just trucking along trying to cope with Immunotherapy side effects. Don’t get me wrong, I am so freaking grateful... four years on this drug but I would be lying if I said it’s like a walk in the park.
My Oncologist says I am a rock star, of the people this drug works for, only 14% make it to four years....well I gotta get to five at least, still waiting for the perfect smartphone so I might be here awhile
You hang in there! You are fighting, and fighting leaves you beat up. The only thing for it is to bite down on your mouth piece and come out swinging round after round, the way you have been doing it. It is ok to rest between bouts. You got this, and we are all in your corner.I skipped Friday’s treatment, call me a whimp but the SE’s are mounting. Aching joints, dry, painful eyes & all over body spasms that hurt so bad I want to scream. Hoping 2 weeks off helps.
Next moth neck & chest CT, annual brain MRI.
Think kind thoughts please, I have been a tired, hurting unit

Sending positive energy your way.
Knock on wood but the body spasms seem to have stopped...just that one SE stopping is such a relief. The pain was so, so bad from that, words cannot describe. Imagine having Charlie horses in your legs, feet, hands & rib cage all at the same time
Ugh, Jean, that sucks, to put it mildly.Knock on wood but the body spasms seem to have stopped...just that one SE stopping is such a relief. The pain was so, so bad from that, words cannot describe. Imagine having Charlie horses in your legs, feet, hands & rib cage all at the same time
To make sure you hit a home run, Jean, elevate your launch angle. Then report back to us with your exit velocity. Remember, hard hit balls are the key to scoring big.Sorry to hear you feel like crap. You should REALLY try kicking Red in the junk for therapeutic reasons...trust me...it will make you feel MUCH better...

Also, in the illustrious words of Billy Bob Hallmark, Get Well Soon! That's an order!
I think you 2 spend more time thinking about Red's junk than Geekbabe. Maybe she should be worried
A mere bump in the road God willing! Silly August Pneumonia, just like Christmas in July. After becoming increasingly sick all week, spent the day at Mass General, Chest X Ray, blood draws, blood cultures. I lost 5 pounds, was dehydrated & have pneumonia for starters. Got IV fluids, antibiotics.
I am miserable & now have a stomach ache from the Z pack, something good needs to happen around here. Who the hell gets pneumonia in August?

Just praying my port isn’t infected, they had a fair bit of trouble with it today, lots of heparin flushing. They did cultures via the port on my right side & found a magician to access a vein on the left side in my arm. Praying the port is okay, otherwise I am septic & it needs to come out.
