Is it because of randomly dying ram sticks? I've had my set of ballistix ram for over 2 years now, and no problems, but then again, I left them at stock speeds and timings, ddr2-800 5-5-5-18. Although, I have taken them to ddr2-1066 during a test, lax timings at 2.1V.Originally posted by: Blain
I would stay away from the Crucial Ballistix line of memory.
A better option would be Corsair, G.Skill or Mushkin PC2-6400 rated to run at the JEDEC DDR2 voltage standard of 1.8-1.9v
