Advice needed on build

I have been contemplating building a new C2D system for the first time. The following is a list of components I have acquired new:

Case = Antec Solo
PSU = Corsair 520HX
GPU = Evga 7900 GS KO
RAM = Crucial Ballistix PC-6400 4-4-4-12 2.2V DDR2-800 (2x1GB) Kit

I have been budgeting for a E6420 as for the CPU, but what I have a hard time deciding on is a motherboard. Reviewing this site along with others, it seems that there is choices choices based on both positive and negative feedback. I would love to overclock like all the rest who talk about 3-3.2 Ghz.

So far the motherboards I been seeing reasonably priced are:

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 3.3
Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4
DFI Infinity P965
ASUS P5N-E

Suggestions, comments?

Get the x1950pro instead of the 7900GS.

The DS3 is a very good motherboard for the price

3.2 is going to be easy. If you can't budget for that CPU just bump down and get the 4300/4400 they overclock like fiends and love volts.

DS3 is rock solid and tried and true. The DS4 is newer so there might be a few kinks but Gigabyte is really good with fixing things right in bios releases. I actually changed to the DS4 based on reviews.

I would look for cheaper alternatives to your RAM and PS, both your choices are very good but if you're on a tight budget there are less expensive alternatives which are just as good.

Look for the Antec SmartPower N82E16817103937, Aerocool ZEROBDA N82E16817331001 or Thermaltake Purepower N82E16817153050. For memory the Wintec Ampo N82E16820161172, A-Data N82E16820211066 and G.SKill N82E16820231114 are excellent choices, but the Crucial is also very good too.

I agree with the video card change that was suggested, more bang for your buck.

Do your own reviews on these and make up your own mind, best ya to find your own way.

Guys I think he means that he already has the PSU, memory and video card?

I'd suggest the DS3 for a motherboard; it's solid and a great overclocker.

You are correct, I have already aquired those parts mentioned above.

Case = $40
PSU = $70
RAM = $90
GPU = $132

Good prices?
