Advice on anti-spyware

I posted this a couple days ago in the software forum and nobody responded, so I'll ask you guys. I have been using MS Antispyware and I like it. It appears that it has been replaced with Defender. Should I install Defender then? Antispyware hasn't given me any messages about it. Should I uninstall antispyware first?

Yes, uninstall anti spyware then install Defender.It seems to work fine for me.Defender has some good options .

I think defender is the new MS antispyware.

It is indeed beta 2 of the MSAS. MSAS will eventually cease to work so I would advise you to switch over ASAP.
