I disagree with the bolded selection. Either you were typing that so you could fit in, or you really believe it. Just because a thousand people agree, doesn't make it right. Likely, yes, but he's certainly not moronic for having his own (and different) thought process. In this economy people are grasping at straws for an opportunity to find employment, and "companies" like this know it.

I do not have a problem with him having independent thought, but the point to asking others is for opinions. All opinions point to scam, including my quick google, yet op thinks people are trolling.

These companies are not legit. They are scammers that are trying to take advantage of people who are desperate/ignorant. All I am trying to do is make sure op does not fall for it despite himself.

They make their money selling a "certification" which is not applicable to any other employment.

You supposedly then get work from them, but they apparently have no work to give. They have your money, you have no work.
