Advice please... Opteron 170 purchase

I have the opportunity to pick up a opteron 170 retail boxed with the stepping CCBWE 0550 UPMW. I know this is not the "golden" CCB1E 0550 VPMW... but how does it compare for overclocking?

would this be a close second place to the golden sample cpu listed above?

anyone with this upmw stepping I would really love to hear your results.

It's pretty good. I'm doing 2.7 @ 1.45 volts.
I live in a Miami and its hot ass nuts but: idle 43 load 50
I say take it if you can get a low price. I think they regularly go for about $405

Did you have to slowly work it up to those numbers?

or was it fairly fast to just set it high up, and stability test it?

also how is that DFI expert motherboard, I was readiong on dfi street that it has all kinda of problems with 600 watt power supplies. Apparently especially the seasonic s12- 600 which is what I have.
