Advice: Trip to Mexico

Howdy,

I'm going on a short fishing trip to Mexico Saturday, specifically a place called "Puerto Penasco" which is located at the top of the Sea of Cortez aka. Gulf of California. What advice (besides don't drink the water) can you give me about traveling there?

be careful where you eat, if you are the delicat sort, you might not want to eat at the corner restaurant (although its damn good and damn tasty)

carry like $50-$100 to bribe the cops. I read that in some travel book somewhere, seemed like a good piece of advice to me.

You can buy prescription drugs like Codeine and Valium etc. at the corner pharmacies if you pay off the pharmacist

I believe you can buy prescription drugs ( without prescription) in most countries.
