Affordable (sub-$100) premium denim?

Nicest jeans I own are Buffalos. They don't seem to be less durable than any other jean and fit me pretty well, although the best-fitting jeans I ever worse were from Bluenotes before they turned all skater/shitty.

they're not the same as department store jeans, take lucky for example, the store and costco version are different.

I stick to Levi's now. Used to wear 7 and Lucky.. but size changed and I don't have the heart to spend $$$ on jeans. Not trying to impress anyone.

Yep - gap used to be my go to but they fit me really oddly these days and the quality feels different to me (vs. 10 years ago). Comments seem to echo my feelings that something has changed in their manufacturer process and now resemble a halfway point between Old Navy and the old gap quality. Not bad for a $30 sale, but their sticker price seems inflated. CK, will check out for sure.

I will take the Old Navy jeans for $15 (on sale) but obviously like all Old Navy clothes the life of your jeans will be less than higher quality jeans.

But OP you have find jeans that look good on you before you decide what brand and style to buy. I used to buy Levi's and Arizona's at JC Penies but now my wife has to approve all jeans i buy, which means they not only fit but look good for my frame.
