I was sent this camera by the company I work part-time for to use to take pictures of events happening around campus. The article in PCWorld doesn't even come close to showing what a piece of junk it is. I think the WWF SlamCam and Barbie ones even outdistance it. I have to keep trying to use it, as the company has me on a weekly quota of pictures I have to take, and took $140 out of my paychecks as a "security deposit" so I figured I should use it. Of the 100+ pictures I have taken with it, only 17 have been useable, and even then they are rather blurry. You have to hold the camera perfectly still for about seven seconds after snapping the picture or else the result will be a quadruple superimposed or blurry and distorted picture. Now add to this the fact that the button you push to take the picture has to be pushed down rather hard for it to register that you have clicked it, which makes it nearly impossible for it to stay steady (even on the ineffectual tripod included with it) as pushing the button jiggles it. The camera cannot handle anything with motion in it. So, sporting events, concerts, plays, races, and pretty much everything else are out of the question. About the only thing it is semi-decent (for the price) for is to take pictures of buildings and plants (as long as there is no wind). Even then, expect to take a dozen pictures just to get one good one.
This camera lists for $129, sells at Ames for $70, and is worth $10. Stay away from this camera at all costs.
