AGP Recommendation

I need a recommendation for a decent AGP card to upgrade my 9800pro
Here is my setup:

Sempron64 3100+ (OC@ 2.3)
2gb Corsair XMS
Xtasy 9800Pro 128mb (OC@ 428, 348)

I don't know if there is a decent upgrade to be had for under $100 that will beat the 9800. I haven't been paying attention to graphics cards for a while now. If not I will probably wait a few more months and start the switch to PCI-E.

there is not much out there for under 100 dollars worth upgrading from the 9800

spend 125 dollars and the story changes

just keep the 9800 until it dies, like mine did

Summitdrinker is correct if you need a new card, however if you buy a used one off FS/FT its a different story... for example I saw a 6800nu for $70 last night.

on a side note unless you want a dead 9800, make sure it's not running on the hot side, keep the dust off of it, get plenty of air flow around it, and check the heat sink paste under the fan/heat sink

Okay, thanks for the advice guys. Looks like I'll be waiting until I am ready for the jump to PCI-E.

As for keeping the 9800 alive, I will cross my fingers. I have an Arctic Silencer on it so the temps should be okay.

On a related side note, if anyone browsing through does happen to have a 6800 for $70 I am always willing to reconsider.

Hmm, thanks for the heads up. That did peak my interest but after reading up on it I think I will stick with the 9800. I almost feel like I won't be impressed by any upgrade that I am able to get for under $100. I don't game that much so waiting until I can move to PCI-E is probably my best bet.
