I figured there'd be a program that did that eventually. No matter what kind of copy protection is on a game, a straight bit for bit copy still can't be beat.
I started a thread asking whether a copy of Alcohol that I had "acquired" was a virus in disguise but someone locked the thread - maybe it was locked by software.
Anyway, I gave up with that and I now run CloneCD and Daemon Tools so that my son can run his Disney CDs from the hard drive.

Vacation time. We hope you do not become a frequent flyer on Air Mod.
Clone CD won't do as much with the latest games. I couldn't backup splinter cell. However, i got Alcohol 120 and it backs up everything and acts as a virtual drive. It's the best out there right now as far as i'm concerned
I only have the downloadable version of CloneCD which is for 21 days trial. Daemon Tools is free to download and use (forever?). Alcohol 120 is chargeable.
I have found that Daemon Tools has a limit of 4 virtual cd drives; but then you can always unmount a particular (virtual) cd drive's image and mount another.
