It's pretty silly.

yeah but I believe it's done a little better. However, while Google's sloppy in not offering a complete product, Samsung's going too far trying to outdo Apple and Google where their apps almost feel like spam? Like they've got too many junk features they're trying to shove down your throats...

In practice a lot of their stuff doesn't work very well though.

S-voice for instance has more features than Google Voice commands but doesn't have the accuracy of actually understanding me.

Is it just me or are they really detailing all the things smartphones have been able to do for years now?

Yeah, I'm thinking only a few of these options will have quality updates and support.

4.2.2? That's pretty impressive. AT is reporting its got an rgb stripe display. Smaller than S3 but larger display and battery. Very well done.

I'm annoyed at all the "S" apps they are packing in this phone. Holy feature creep.

this is a big blow to wireless charging. Kinda like when the SGS2 and Sensation launched with no NFC. It took another cycle to actually bring them in.

I could very well see a next Nexus possibly not having wireless charging and that $60 orb going out the window. But let's hope not.

What a waste of time and money for such crappy event. Samsung is going way too far with Apple "i" copying. I don't think anyone cares about their "S" features which most are just horrible copies and imitation of Google and Apple features. Samsung is trying so hard to create their own ecosystem but they're clumsy and tacky. Samsung bloatware might become their Achilles hill.

But honestly that's what the public wants. And it's not like Google's features are all there. You can say Google had feature X or Y from long time ago like Voice Search, but it's not like they didn't end up overhauling it with Now and going after Siri. Google will play catchup, I bet you, but the question is how far will they go? Supposedly KLP isn't all that impressive according to sources on XDA.

That presentation sucked, they should've used more video to explain the features instead of that stupid play.

Phone itself is impressive, smaller (footprint) but bigger (screen). Anand says "the Galaxy S 4 feels well built" so that's an improvement.

I have to agree, the design is gay.

Where's the design innovation? Push those bezels completely out and use more straight lines (although I suspect apple has patented straight lines). The bezel should be a infinitesimally small slice of metal around the rim. HTC one wins this round in the all important design category

Ceramic casing please!

HUGE battery and you can flip it out? I am in love. When is AT&T getting this thing?

Agreed, large removable battery, microSD, 1080p RGB Super AMOLED display, and and a freaking octo core processor and PowerVR SGX544MP3 to top it all off.

It's pretty much the perfect list of hardware.

The hardware is great. I love their unique AMOLED display and Samsung is the only company left that understand how important SD card and removable battery are. Nothing can touch this phone when it comes to hardware.

Yeah, and internals are ultimately more important to me than the looks, (bloat)software and such. The GS4 beats out the HONE despite Samsung's super corny presentation.

It's interesting that the A15 will run at 1.2GHz.

If that's the case then the 1.9GHz S600 will be very competitive after all. The A15 was supposed to double A9 after all but the Krait also beats A9. With that much clock speed advantage, the performance difference should be smaller than expected.

According to what's on Engadget it says it'll run at 1.6GHz.
