I just noticed that using Alt-F4 combination on my computer doesn't seem to work
I cannot close internet explorer or instant messenger windows.
I do not think I recently installed any new software that would conflict, newest software that I installed would be Premiere, but that didn't conflict before, and I don't think it should conflict now.
I recently installed an OCZ PC3200 256mb from my other computer, which is one from a dual channel package, though the other burned out, but this one is okay. The other two memory modules are two mushkin PC3200 2x256s in the other memory slots. Didn't seem to create any problems when I installed it but I cannot be sure.
I do have a wireless keyboard and mouse, a Logitech MX Duo, the wireless keyboard elite version and an MX700 mouse. I have Altec Lansing 251 speakers hooked up (since I built my computer they've been there, been no problems i dont' think ,recently making a static popping sound, sorta)
what could be the problem? (btw the Alt button works on both sides) I believe that the F4 button is the problem
thanks
also, could this problem have arisen because yesterday I tried to hook up my computer to my TV and unsuccessfully tried varying combinations to hook it up to my VCR, then gave up because it did not work, I believe everything is normal, but the Alt-F4 combination doesn't work
