dude dont ****** around with my mind, are you serious the 5000 is 2.66 ???
Im gonna bury myself alive if thats true. it would mean that Am2 is 333 HT unlike what everyone else is saying that its 200 like old 939.
*no smily to show how happy I really am*

I think it's going to be DDR2-533 mem so something like 2.66Ghz sounds reasonable to me.
The big question: What difference would this make? People always claim that the HT base speed shouldn't affect memory performance and that you might as well just run the memory at higher frequency to get the higher bandwidth. I'll admit that I haven't really read up on how AMD's bus system works... Educate me!Originally posted by: n7

So the X2 5000+ is perhaps an 8x333 CPU :Q?

That's what I am wondering too. The only thing I can think of is that these will be harder to overclock due to their low multipliers.

Hmm wow, i just rechecked this older roadmap

I think it actually might just be right too.
Anyone notice how the FX-62 is a 7x400 CPU according to that? :Q
If that's actually accurate, wow.
Huge jump in HTT speed if that's actually gonna happen!
