Mine was sold on Ebay the day I got it, unopened. Prices were trending down at the time so i got just under $300, but they are up again now as Xmas approaches.
For $99 it might be worth keeping, but on the market now it's worth over $200 so selling it was a no-brainer.
I suspected it would be a gimmick and I think a lot of owners are losing interest, but what really put me over was the terrible terms and conditions. Not only does amazon keep all the audio clips (not just their text), but also all your shopping list, to-do list stuff; absolutely everything. It's a huge data mine that really Amazon ought to be paying people to partake in.
Considering I deactivated my device online before even plugging it in my guess is Amazon won't send me any future products that require invites
