Really comes down to how well it sounds for me. I've got a lot of Sonos equipment in my house for music delivery. Their speakers sound great and they are simple and reliable pieces of equipment. No quirks or catches. Just turn them on, find them with the app, and that's it. Done.

This is basically a Sonos Play 1 + a built in Siri/Google now/Cortana. My phone can already answer things for me without touching it (Moto Voice assist). If it actually sounds decent it will do ok. If it sounds like crap it will flop. The voice stuff will be a gimmick most of the time and 99% of it's use will be for ambient music in various rooms of a home or office. If it sucks at that then it's a dead device.

It's more like a stand alone streaming speaker (Sonos for example) + Siri.

I guess maybe it would be useful in a car, but I'd want it to work universally with all of my apps, not just *some* apps.

I use Siri in the mornings to read my calendar for the day to me on my way to work. That's about all I use it for though, or occasionally for voice to text message.

I've only started using Siri after putting in a Siri-compatible stereo head unit in my car a couple of months ago. Never used it before and still only use it rarely now, for those odd occasions where I want to make a call or I want some random music to play without pulling my phone out of my pocket.
