For those in the market for a scale, Tanita makes quality products. So much so that they are scale of choice of major hospitals and research facilities that specialize in body composition analysis. Considering this particular model performs bioelectrical impedance analysis, it is an excellent price. The costlier professional versions Tanita manufacturers can easily run over $1,000 (some well over $2,500). Obviously this model is not as precise as the professional series, which typically measure the impedance through both feet and hands, but for the price, it certainly deserves a look. The multiple memory feature is useful, either for tracking a single individual's weight, or multiple individuals.

Regular price elsewhere is typically $99, with sale prices around $70. With free shipping from Amazon, the end cost is all that much more attractive.
