do you sleep with a fan on?

I have a fan pointed at my head at all times. Without it I overheat. With it, I'm comfy.

I still can't have my toes covered up for whatever reason. Does that make me crazy?

Im the same way. I have a fan and AC on all year round. I also cant sleep fully covered and my feet especially. makes it hard for the GF when she stays over as she like to fully cover up and cuddle. I cuddle with her til she passes out then I unclench!

In the winter I make my "burrito". I have my big fluffy comfortable wrapped all around me but my head and feet are sticking out. I look just like a burrito

About as loud as a hair dryer, only plug it in once a month when air gets low.

I've had mine for 3 years almost I believe. Best investment ever. I love my memory foam mattress that I bought from Amazon. It's a full size... don't remember the brand though. I also got one of those metal frames that splits into two and collapses to save space.

I sprung for a Tempur Pedic mattress several years ago after my wife and I went through three inner spring mattresses in about 12 years. Each of them eventually sagged where we slept, despite rotating and flipping those mattresses 2-3 times a year. For the record, we are both of below average height and build (AKA we aren't fatties).

We love our memory foam mattress. Two things of note though:

1) I would say it is slightly warmer to sleep on than other mattresses, but nothing adjusting your blankets/comforters can't fix. It's not so warm that you'll sweat excessively despite having no blanket on

2) When the house is cold, the mattress can be rather stiff. More than once after we bought it I jumped on the bed hoping for that spring of a regular mattress and was met with a rather stiff fall on the bed. However, once you settle into it and let it warm up, it contours nicely and adjusts readily to your body shape.

There's no going back for us at this point.

I have one from Amazon and it's firm. I like firm and it was way cheaper compared to the ones at retail. I love it!

Cheap memory foam toppers break down way too quickly. I have a really, almost ridiculously so, firm latex mattress. The mattress is nice and firm for a base, but hurts my shoulders when I roll on my side sometimes and sleep. So I stick a memory foam topper on there. Last couple ones I bought were the walmart brand ones. They last about a year, even with rotating, before they break down and offer almost zero support. At that point my back starts hurting every night I sleep on them. Which it is doing right now.

Toppers are great, just stick with the quality ones unless you like spending $100 a year on one.

I bought a 12" Lucid from Amazon and its fine. I've had it for 18 months and it doesn't sag or anything. I had a 3" topper from Costco that I used to use on a futon style Ikea mattress, and that would get warm, but I don't notice it as much with the Lucid. It's hard to tell if its warmer than a traditional mattress, since the only time I am on traditional mattresses is for a few nights a year when in a hotel.

I got one from Costco and we loved it. It was bit too hard for my wife so we ended up getting 3" topper from Walmart to soften it up a bit.

Worked like a charm....

had one, wasn't impressed. you'd have to go a long way to defeat the feeling of the surface you are sleeping on, which imho is much worse than cotton.

I think its my slightly high blood pressure or my ADHD. I always need a breeze on me for some reason. Right now at work I have my AC on in my office and have it pointed to my back.

That's just a foam base with a latex topper.
