This is a joke.
Just because it's a joke, doesn't mean that it isn't tasteless and offensive.
This is a joke.
Does Nvidia have stealth marketers too?Can you prove that is true or not true?
This. It is quite similar to coworker with whom pretty much every dialog went like this:I understand what Keys is say; but at the same point he did call out and say he had proof of stealth AMDers - he got called on it; which includes myself calling him on it.
That is the only issue I have with Keys; you can't say something; then when called; not given proof; but a possible conjecture.
Every review site I read specify where they got the sample from so that is cool. And AMD said that this will apply to the new advocate program too, didn't they? So I do not quite understand the sentiment in this thread. Now as I said; this is extending their pro hardware reviews to bloggers - video reviewers etc. If they are going to do it; they got to say they are part of it; as by law......
This. It is quite similar to coworker with whom pretty much every dialog went like this:
Me: "Did you fix the problem I asked last week?"
Him: "Yes it is all working now. I had to work really hard over the weekend though..."
Me: "Great! Let's take a look!"
Him: "Well, you see, I cannot show it to you because of [insert random excuse]"
Me: "OK, but show it to me tomorrow, alright?"
Him: "Of course!"
Every day was the same dialog, just with different excuses. He is fired now btw.

No, I think it is best left up to peoples instincts and the "end game" is not to point fingers but to create more awareness about it.
I just hope the mods clean up this thread by acting upon the individuals causing the problem here *instead of locking it and allowing those individuals' actions to stifle a conversation like typically happens.*
Mission accomplished. Most people are aware that the possibility of AMD viral marketers exists on AT.
I don't see why these threads are even allowed to continue. A clearly known nvidia troll starts it, doesn't post in it at all, then shill accusations are made, with no proof being presented. This is a flame bait thread, nothing more.
All the more reason to divide the subforums up into Vendor for CPU and VC&G.
Most people are also aware of the possibility of life on Mars, but we don't have any proof of that either.
Alternatively:
Fixed.Gotta feel for all those fanboys who devoted so much time defending NVIDIA and they weren't even getting free product for it.

I saw the question asked some where (forgot where, sort of high on pain killers right now - side note: <3 u all)

I'm simply curious, from your point of view, did he start the thread trolling in his OP or do you just think this entire thread is trolling simply because of who he is? Would the OP have been any different if a pro-AMD fankid started this thread?

Well, we now know that this advocacy program is not new. It has been in effect at least since November 7th 2012. Still, we see no mention in anyones sig, anywhere on the net in any forum being a participant in the advocacy group.
"Online Advocate Marketing
Our research indicates that consumers are highly persuaded by online experts and personalities, hence AMD’s advocacy marketing focus. These key influencers are AMD technology enthusiasts that are well respected in their communities: Twitter, Facebook, forums, blogs, etc."
