That's what I thought. Are the WQHL drivers going to require caps?
Guess that stops as of todayReview Score:9/10
April 24th, 2013 at 5:01 am - Author ZardonThere is no margin for debate, AMD have achieved their goal of creating the worlds fastest graphics card. The HD7990 Malta architecture is clearly designed to power the latest Direct X 11 engines at insanely high resolutions. Across three screens it was the clear performance leader, with the GTX690 a little distance behind.
LOL...Kitguru used to be the go to site for diehard NVDA fans to quote from.:awe:

Well this thread has just taken a turn for the silly. I can't even describe how much i've rolled my eyes at this page.
funny that amd gcn is also doing better in frame-time graphs(except CFX) than nvi,guess now what excuse will come from nvi fanboys-
now reviewing the observable fps-
AMD = WINS this one
AMD = WINS this one
AMD = WINS this one
Pretty close but still apparent AMD = WINS this one
NVIDIA = WINS this one
AMD = WINS this one
So lets Recap. AMD scores higher in five out of six games in obeservable FPS. NVIDIA wins one out of six games in observable fps. AMD is using an alpha protype driver, NVIDIA is using a released driver. AMD comes with $300 in video games.
AMD = BU--KICKING THE CR-- OUT OF NVIDIA
Looking at the graphs I'd say the real winner was Titan. Comparable FPS, considerably less power usage, single card solution, better looking, and it comes with support for CUDA and PhysX.
On the flip side, the prototype drivers, which aren't available to the general public, not in prototype, alpha, beta, or otherwise have their own problems as well as solutions. Which is why they aren't available.
Perhaps once these drivers become public they'll have worked out the kinks, I'll wait to install my CF bridge until they're available however.
We're coming up on a year and a half, really don't see the need for celebration, it's pretty much a joke in tech life.
Looking at the graphs I'd say the real winner was Titan.
Sorry but fps wise they're quite close, when it's single vs dual at similar fps single wins every time in my book.
7990 is garbage even within their own product stack, nobody buying a $1000 video card only has one PCIe x16 lane let's be serious. 7950 CF for $560-600 completely mops the floor with the 7990.
Games aren't worth much at all, they're all old now and the market is flooded with codes.
9 of 10 reviews are saying that HD 7990 isn't World's fastest.
U jelly? Use Nvidia and play games now, use AMD and play games after several months.
