AMD Richland A10 Turbo Crossfire GCN Radeon HD7750 Graphics!

Vibox and others have discovered AMD A10 Richland can crossfire with GCN HD7750 graphics cards and posted demos! Time to think AMD is being coy about many more capabilities from Temash, Kabini and Richland?

Look good in F1, nothing short of terrible in Bioshock, and unplayable in D3.

I don't really care that its crossfirable. I care about the performance increase over a 7750 alone.

Need to really see some benchmarks of 7750 alone, igp alone and "crossfire". Still somewhat skeptical of this because last I heard it wasnt officially supported by AMD.

it's definitely not officially supported, BUT, on mobile Richland there is support for DG with the 384 cores GCN GPU with DDR3, maybe that's why they enabled the DG mode on the drivers with lower end GCN cards?

a forum member did some testing and on Unigine Heaven the gain was only 15% using a 5800K (but the IGP is the same, I think he was using it while overclocked, so faster than Richland)

I think it's pretty useless considering the small gain (still slower than a single 7770 and it's crossfire, with the added complexity of 2 VGAs with different performance),

I don't see GDDR5 being sold for the same price as DDR3, also AMD is already asking $150 for the 6800K

I don't see "Dual Graphics" making sense to replace a single faster card anytime soon, it's just to expensive for what you get.

Agreed. I only see crossfire useful if you already have a relatively low end card and decide to buy an APU and pair them. Otherwise, if you are going to buy a discrete card, it makes much more sense to simply buy a faster discrete card.

I also thought GDDR5 was ruled out or at least delayed for the APUs.

You can probably count the frames in bioshock, but it might be hard in d3 with all the freezing.
