Price cuts this month (50% off the X2s)
65nm will be at mature yields in November, so expect some improvements there for a Jan release
K8L they've announced for H1 (mid-year) 2007, and quad core in early 2007 for K8
2008 will bring quad core K8L or possibly K10 (it's still unclear)
I'd hardly call them "mature" if you consider that the lower-end parts will be coming out first. I'd say it'll likely be the "Winchester" of 65nm, which will bring cost reduction for AMD and insanely lower power draw, not necessarily higher clocks.
K8L is pretty unclear too, in my opinion. I'd guess 1H2007 because of all the chatter I've been hearing about it but I havent had the fortune of actually being in contact with one (or finding someone who has one and is willing to talk about it).
keyspalyr2003: 4x4 is basically 2S with SLI/Crossfire. There's very little information besides that, the most interesting being that some of those fabled "accelerators" could be slotted into the second socket. Another interesting tid bit is that AMD has said that Quad-core AM3s could be thrown into 4x4, too.
Stoneburner: There aren't any woodcrest Xeon MPs. Intel will release Tulsas, which will be dual-core Netbursts with lots of cache to make up for the 533-667FSB. They dont sound too good, in my opinion, but that's all Intel will have for the MP space.
