Nope, he didn't explain things to a degree where even the host understood what he was saying. These shows require people who explain the technology in ways people can understand. I think instead of saying "this dual core processor is fast as last gens quad core" you can say "this is twice as fast as ..." or use numbers people understand - "this is 30% faster than current processor," etc. The host seemed lost and couldn't keep up with the nerd talk

Actually Oct 99 was the time they switched the forums to a new software and any currently registered users were given a new "join" date. I registered way before 1999, you probably did too.
