It is awesome. I actually prefer it to the web interface. You can connect to most VB powered forums from the same app
What makes it better than a browser?
oh,how quick you are, lol!many thanks.I will try it.Maybe I will find it convenient in use.
it costs a couple dollars and it does take a bit of adjusting.
I use my phone 90% of the time when I'm not at work. I unlocked the screen, open the app and it automatically takes me to the "participated" tab and shows me the latest replies to the threads I've posted in. I love it.
But its not for everyone. Download it, use it right away and if you don't like it, refund it. But I highly recommend it for forum monkeys like myself.
I refused to pay to view these forums. So I use atforums.mobi.

Sitting in a waiting room? Bus/train/subway?Why would anybody want to continue using AT when they have better stuff to do like enjoying their travel.
the "participated" tab
I can check threads I've posted in in one click.
It automatically goes to the first unread post instead of having to wade my way though a thread to find the latest comments.
I really like the interface. Super simple but it does everything and more than the web interface.
There has yet to be a version of tapatalk where the "first unread" setting works for me. It may be due to me setting 50 posts per page, but it's still a shame that 4 versions in and they haven't fixed their bugs. It regularly jumps into the middle of a thread that I've never opened before, and even after I read it all it'll jump to a spot way behind where I've read.
It's better than the browser just for page fit formatting alone, but I still consider it broken.
