sorry 'bout the double-post but i have an important question that i think supercedes a simple edit to the last thread.
as many regulars in this forum know , i'm gearing up (researching) in preparation for building a new system. so obviously it would be rash for me not to investigate more...and to just run out and buy a 939.
so my question is: All this big hype about AMD's AM2 platform...but are the motherboard manufacturers going to be ahead of the curve? who wants AMD's latest CPU if we'll have to wait for the motherboards.
i would hope they'll have as myriad a selection (various amounts of L2 to choose from/ dual-CPU options/ etc.) as they do for the tried and true Socket 939....instead of just leeching out one or two new AM2 models with limited options.
