add that to not putting her baby in a car seat, having her kid fall out of a high chair and fracture his skull and not taking him to the docs for days afterwards until noticing he was "sleeping a lot", and then not learning the lesson about the carseat and having the kid facing towards the front when he is supposed to be in a rear facing car seat. well, almost dropping him on the concrete just adds to the list.

this time she had a drink in one hand and the kid in the other and she tripped over her pants which are 6 inches too long.

still want to defend her?

not yet a woman, not yet a mother.

Yes, i'll still defend her and say that her tripping is no reflection on her parenting skills. Exactly what is her crime, wearing long pants? Holding something along with her baby? Please find a parent who's never carried the baby and something else at the same time.

Mosh, from what I recall reading, most of your arguments are totally bogus. It was a nanny that was involved, not Spears. In fact, here is a link. Maybe you can learn to read before you open your mouth and start whining. That would be a nice change.

Good grief... if our every waking moment was as photographed and videotaped as hers, we'd all be hated by the public.

the most disturbing part to me was that they said on the radio when everyone was gawking and pointing at spears she said "this is why i need a gun!"

The long pants are what's missing from the photograph.

It's just sickening having people rip on Britney Spears' parenting whenever a photo comes out. People cry how bad a parent she is, and that Child Protective Services should take the baby away. Yadda yadda yadda.

My family tried to help a friend once several years ago, she was 17 at the time, had two brothers. Parents were divorced, and her mother wanted nothing to do with any of the children. Even when they would visit their mother the attitude was one of "what are you doing here, how long is it until you leave?" So they lived with the father, who re-married, and the step-mom wanted nothing to do with the kids, either. And to top it off, the father was verbally abusive and very disrespectful to all of them on a daily basis.

There is a whole other world out there besides the celebrity life. And for some people to think the Child Protective Services should spend all their efforts investigating Britney Spears' life...

The bottom line I feel is, most people who "care" about these photographs of Britney Spears' life, are not all too concerned about the well-being of the child. They are more interested in seeing Britney hurt in some way, probably because they don't like her as a person or as a singer.

I think that there should be a serious investigation into her parenting methods as there should be into anybody with this many obvious issues. Nothing special though.

give it a rest. Should we start regulating pants legs on mothers and whether or not they can hold onto something why they carry a baby. geesh.

now tell me what i've said that was bogus. :|

Lets all give it a rest as CPA suggested. If cameras followed you around constantly 24/7, they would certainly dig up dirt on you too and make every little incident seem like the end of the world.

I understand there have been issues in the past, but NONE OF US know the real story behind each incident.

I certainly dont agree that the kid wasnt immediately taken to the ER after the high chair thing, but this incident just seems like someone trying to add fuel to the fire:roll:

i'm not asking for perfection wiseass.

let's see... kid in NO carseat
kid with fractured skull (nanny did it, but kid wasn't taken to the docs)
kid in car seat improperly
she trips over her own pants/drink in hand, almost drops kid on the concrete

yeh, no problem there. she's the "perfect mother".
