Personally I've never felt comfortable carrying either of my children, with only one arm when they were small. If the kid arches his back quickly, he's going to tumble. If for some odd reason the baby does start to fall, you can rest assured the drink would be flying to the wayside and both arms will be protecting the baby from the fall. I'm just glad someone was there to provide additional arms to grab the baby...

Parents that trip when holding their baby really should be locked up. This leniency is really getting out of hand, next thing you know it won't be a federal crime anymore when milk is spilt.

Yep if you look at the last picture you will see she never even dropped her drink. Sorry but if I was about to drop my kid or my drink, I think I would drop the drink and use 2 hands for a child that is less then 10 months old.

OMG, she tripped, what a horrible mother!
add that to not putting her baby in a car seat, having her kid fall out of a high chair and fracture his skull and not taking him to the docs for days afterwards until noticing he was "sleeping a lot", and then not learning the lesson about the carseat and having the kid facing towards the front when he is supposed to be in a rear facing car seat. well, almost dropping him on the concrete just adds to the list.

Mosh, from what I recall reading, most of your arguments are totally bogus. It was a nanny that was involved, not Spears. In fact, here is a link. Maybe you can learn to read before you open your mouth and start whining. That would be a nice change.
screw you.

where did i say she was behind the kid falling out of the highchair? i said her kid fell out and she didn't take it to the docs to check for any broken bones until the kid was "sleeping a lot".

now tell me what i've said that was bogus. :|

maybe you need to stfu and stop defending celebs that wouldn't give you the time of day.

What you said is bogus. First off, you implied that she was responsible. Don't try any of that bullshit. Second, she did not take the kid to a doctor, she had a doctor come to the kid. The article clearly states that a doctor saw the kid. In fact, let me quote it for you: "A doctor examined the child the day of the mishap at the family's home, and he seemed fine..."

I don't give a flying fvck about her. What I care about is people like you who have nothing better to do than critcize people they have never even met. Seriously, get a life.

Yeah, if the average person was filmed as must as Britney bad childcare would appear. But I really makes you wonder what happens behind closed doors in the Spears home if so many things have happen in public. And I'm really afraid for the 2nd child. Only conceived 3 months after the 1st pregancy. Health problems will just compound the horrible parenting skills of Britney and Kevin.

Not that I'm defending this nutjob, but there are quite a few parenting moments I wouldn't want caught on film....

Like the time we left the baby asleep on the bed and she rolled off
Or the time she was playing at mom's feet... while she was frying onions... and one popped out of the pan and ent down her shirt...

Yeah... everybody screws up and I firmly believe that there's an element of luck in surviving childhood.

None of this baby stuff needed to happen for me to know she is an idiot. All she had to do was speak.

not to defend her or anything...

but I was watching access hollywood the other day and they showed the clip of her tripping...and they also showed her later on inside a store crying hysterically b/c she almost dropped her baby. I'm sure she feels bad for being a careless parent...and it's really none of OUR business how she takes care of her child.

Just yesterday i was in the mall and I saw a woman in EB shopping for a video game for her son and daughter. The son was running around...and was generally pretty well behaved..except for the lack of parental supervision. The daughter was a little bit younger..walking around with those air can thingys (you'd use to clean out your keyboard or spray into your pc) and just randomly spraying it into her eyes. Mom doesn't care..and by the time they left the can was half empty (it was being sold by EB), put back on the shelf..and the girl's eyes were red. I'm sure that can of compressed air couldn't have been all that healthy for her eyes. After I made my puchases...we walked out of the store and the same girl was running around wild and she fell HARD on the floor cause she tripped on her own feet. Mom was nowhere to be found.

Now back to the piont at hand....I'm sure Britney won't be winning any Mom of the Year awards..but she at LEAST has people who look out for her. Nanny, Brit's mom, even CPS might be "watching" her, etc etc. But think of that little girl I saw at the mall yesterday...if (God forbid) something ever happens to her...who's going to care? Certainly not any of you. Don't pretend to be such "concerned citizens" over the welfare of Britney's baby when you only "care" b/c she's on tv and in magazines.
