Another new build problem

I just finished assembling all the componets together. However, after I power it up, the built in speaker keeps beeping with a very loud and SHARP noise, also there is no video display.

the power, cpu hsf are running for sure.

You could google your bios' beep codes or:


1. try reseating the ram

still beeping?

2. Try alternating the ram sticks (one at a time)

3. The video card could also be a suspect. Try reseating that also.

I am having the same problem mdrollas was having.

I just built a new computer, and once I was done and pushed the power button, I got a long sharp continuous beep. I've tried re-seating the ram, alternating ram sticks, and tried re-seating my video card, and still getting the same beep. I am starting to worry maybe my parts are damage (I hope not).

Could anyone help me out on what may be the problem?
