Basically any "Empire" chinese restaurant will have cheap $4 crappy rolls made by mexican's and also some places out in queens and fort lee. You could not pay me enough to eat sushi from any of those crappy places though.
You came to the wrong place if you want to be cheap.

Wow a complete fail for someone from NYC.
Yes, NYC does have an all you can eat sushi place and although I haven't eaten there my girlfriend has. I have eaten at other locations of the http://www.todainyc.com/]Todai Sushi[/url] chain restaurant in Portland and Honolulu, although not amazing it is better then supermarket sushi. I would rate it about average for a sushi restaurant. Plus it has more than just sushi, including lobster, BBQ pork, Hibachi grill, and crepes for dessert. It seems to be the perfect answer to what you want.
Prices:
Lunch $15.95 (Mon-Fri)
$17.95 (Sat & Sun)
Dinner $25.95 (Mon-Thurs)
$27.95 (Fri-Sun)

I disagree, Yuka and Funayama are pretty damn good. AYCE BUFFETS are to be avoided, though.Originally posted by: sniperruff

I guess I'll just wait until I get back to Houston and get some good sushi from some of the local places I know.
