Another SoCal Ferrari bites the dust

This whole thing strikes me as being a little wierd. A) A highway patrolman was driving. B) I'm not making any judgements, but do many Highway Patrolmen own Ferrari's? C) One story stated the patrolman was in a special unit cracking down on speeders using the mountain roads and D) he must have been going fast because this is the road I take to and from work everyday, when there's no traffic I'm doing 70+.

Doesn't seem like he was on duty, because he had a non-officer friend. It was probably more like showing off and that is best done with high revs + lots and lots of speed. Maybe loss in a few tire squealing bends in the equation.

Technically it's a 512TR, Testarossa's ran from 84-90, while the 512TR was from 91-93.

Actually, Ferrari didn't make the Testarossa in 1993. They did, however, make the 348, which can easily be mistaken for a Testarossa.

i assume he was on malibu cyn or maybe kanan rd..

in either case those are easy roads that you can do 70 easy.. what the heck.. something else must have caused it.. a blow out perhaps.
