Another Trump assassination attempt thwarted

A Wisconsin teenager has been charged in the killing of his mother and stepfather in what the federal authorities described as an attempt to obtain the money and autonomy he believed was necessary for a plot to kill President Trump and overthrow the government.

I read a couple of articles about this guy but it's all over the place.

He was talking with Russians about escaping to Ukraine and wanted to save the white race by assassinating Trump so he killed his parents.

I don't know if I should say.. "drugs are bad" or "we need to send a "radioactive decontamination unit to his town and school" or both!

This sounds pretty innocuous at first (just another deranged high school student with access to a gun like Thomas Crooks) but this exposes how threats to President Trump aren’t just coming from “leftists” or those who oppose his policies. There are supporters of his who want to make him into some sort of “martyr” to bring down the “Deep State” government and accelerate plans for civil war/racial war or potentially expose “Zionist” elements within the government. The Republican Party curried favor with these kooks for too long and now they are facing consequences.

My fear is that some morons in the White House or Congress are going to create soundbites that this guy was “working with Ukraine” and use that as another excuse to pull support.

17 year old. A better long term plan would have been to join the army. So he'd at least attain some competence necessary for such a stupid plot. I reckon thinking beyond the moment is not his forte. As much as Trump loves to rail against anyone and everyone that even says unkind things about him, I find this odd, to say the least.

He wouldn't talk about it because he wouldn't want to "give anybody ideas." I'm sure he doesn't like to think about it and imagine he rarely does.

He is completely obsessed with anyone and everyone that even speaks unkindly about him, much less cause him harm. He is unable to remain silent when he feels he has been slighted or criticized, he just not capable of keeping quiet.

Furthermore, he had not mentioned him in any context, not as an example of a 'home-grown' terrorist the type he wants to send to El Salvador, nor as someone that could stop Super Trump and that took a bullet to save America from the democrats.

As for encouraging more attempts, his destruction of our country has that on the mind of millions of people in this country and other countries. I'm not so sure that if he talked about it, that it would encourage someone not already of that mind set.

That guy in Butler County, PA wasn't a leftist. Never Trumpers are of all stripes it appears.

I was tooling around L.A. at the time, "met some people strange, put me through a change," but was lucky enough to not cross paths with the Manson clan. I'm not the kind to get drawn into cults, so I wouldn't have but even getting a whiff of those people would have been scary.

Saw some women wrestling (Fox?) while working out at my gym 2 days ago. I always wonder how they don't hurt each other but obviously they practice the moves beforehand, it's all scripted (mostly, anyway). I seriously don't understand how people can watch that stuff. I can't get into their frame of mind. I do realize that the posturing, the insults, the mind games, the bravura, bragging, taunting, etc. is the best aspect of it. Strange theater. Anyway, I only occasionally get a whiff of it, have never hung out there ... and I'm talking strictly TV, going to one of those in person I would be nervous!!!
