Antec 1080 & Asus p4t533 wiring

Could someone please tell me where the HDD wire and the wires marked I & II from the Antec case are placed on the p4t533 board?

I have the Power LED, Speaker, ATX Power switch and Reset SW connected already. There is still Keyboard Lock, Message LED and SMI Lead in the Asus manual listed. There is no HDD listed though.

Also where and how do you connect the USB wires from the front of the Antec case to the Asus board? The Asus board only has 7 pins but there are 8 wires for the front USB.

The wires marked I and II go to the extra LEDs on the front of the case. One typical usage would be plugging one into a SCSI card to indicate SCSI activity. You could use the other for Message LED but I don't think most people are going to find that relevant unless they use their computer for faxing.

If you look at page 20 of the manual, you will see a HDLED header near the bottom right corner, above the PANEL block that your Reset, Power, etc are plugged into. If you don't get the LED lighting with disk activity, reverse the connector.

As for the USB, your Antec case wiring should have 9 wires on the multicolored ribbon cable, labelled with either a 1 or a 2. There should be four 1's and five 2's, IIRC. The pinout for the motherboard is shown on page 51. From right to left, the top row is Power, Data-, Data+, Ground, and NC (no connection), so put the Antec's "group-2" wires on in that order (5V, D-, D+, Ground, Ground). On the lower row, use the four Group-1 wires in the same order.

Don't confuse the front USB wiring with the front FireWire wiring... the FW is the big round grey cable, whereas the USB is the flat rainbow-colored ribbon cable. Good luck!
