Oh yes I am, based on people's replies to my various threads at various sites... I ought to start my own compatibility chart.... lol
what PSUs and mobo are having issues....

Well the Asus A8N series of mobos and just about any P/S have "cable reach issues" for the main P/S power cable and the 12VATX cable. I know that the Seasonic S12 430 and 500 will "work" with the Asus A8N's in the P180 but just barely without extendors for BOTH the main power and 12VATX cable.

Actually, they're the least expensive set of power cables I've been able to find. You might be thinking of a 4pin molex extension or y adapter for $3-4 but these cables are a bit more heavy duty. And if you don't want to pay the money for them to take apart the cables to sleeve them, you can always do it yourself.Originally posted by: Trikat

WOW. Just a friggn' $12.95. Get it sleeved for just $8 more!
Buy 3 of these and for that cost you can get a 600W Ultra X-Finity PSU... AR w/ free shipping.

(Supposed to be better quality than their Ultra-X unreliable power supply as the components are of higher quality.)
Anyways my point is: wow what a rip off for just 2 cables. And sleeving 2 cables for $8 is insanely expensive. I guess they are that rare in the market...

Does anyone know what reliable vendor sells 4pin molex to 3pin converters so that I can plug the 4pin tri-cools into my mobos fan header connectors ???
I do realize I won't be able to utilize the mobo's fan monitoring but at least I could "free up" having to use some of the Power Supply's 4 pin molex's to power the three Tri-cools.
Oh, and besides performance PC and NewEgg, is there any vendor that sells 4 wire/pin extenders if I need more reach with from one of the p/s's 4 pin molex's ???
Thanks

For the money, I would spend $20 more and get a Fortron 500w Blue Storm over that piece of crap psu.

Thank you for the very fast response...I assume this has already shipped correct?
Do you know where it is shipping from
Neal
Got reply on the issue..this was/is a warehouse situation...apparently once the confirm payment and send info to the warehouse..they label the website invoice shipped...but sometimes the warehouse is slower??
anyway..I will say there email response is excellent
I personally prefer they not labeled as shipped till leave the warehouse...I figured it was in trasnit as of tuesday(sometime) not late wed pm....with tuesday shipping there was an outside chance of Fri delivery....
I never get lucky with shipping also takes max time..well it seems that way
Hello,
Should be no issue with that PSU.

I am interested in a Antec P180 computer case. I own a OCZ 520w
Powerstream
PSU. I have seen reports of cable issues, ie the 12v 4pin cpu
connector and
ATX power supply connector may not reach with the PSU at the bottom..I
own a
MSI Neo 2 Platinum NForce 3 mobo. The ATX connector is mid mobo or
so..I do
not think this is an issue but I am very concerned the 12v 4pin
connector
need at the top of the mobo (for the CPU)...do you know since you are a
reseller of both this case and PSU whether the cable length on the OCZ
will
be an issue
Thank You
