I'm confused. Currently, i'm looking at an OC i7-930 build with a Radeon 5870 + 6gb of DDR3 RAM and granted that this has more than enough juice to run that. I've read a few customer reviews on newegg that make it sound like a pretty bad PSU that burns out after a few months (!), however I've read reviews that say this unit is pretty solid and efficient. Not to mention that it's just 10 bucks more expensive than a corsair 850W unit. Does anyone here use this PSU? Have you had any troubles with it?
Oh and just to be clear, I intend on getting another 5870 (hopefully not too far in the future) to CF when a single one stops cutting it at high settings for most FPSs, which is the main reason i'm getting a 1000w instead of 850w. Plus, the price makes it so irresistible .
