akira and gits movies suck imo, their plots are so screwed, go read the manga instead.

Inuyasha is funny, but the series is lengthy and strays a bit I think. There are only are few episodes that can be considered critical to the plot.

- Vision of Escaflowne

Why? Because without exception, English dubs suck. All of them. Always watch it in Japanese or if you don't speak the language, get DVDs and subtitles. NEVER ENGLISH DUBS!

Also...DO NOT BUY EDITED VERSIONS North American censors are wimps. They censor everything. Even CPR is too sexual.

With that said...my favorite series in no particular order are...

- Mobile Suit Gundam
- Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket
- Gundam: 08th MS Team
- Gundam F91
- Gundam: Char's CounterAttack
- Gundam Zeta
- Gundam Double Zeta
- G Gundam
- Serial Experiments Lain
- Rurouni Kenshin
- Love Hina
- Neon Genesis Evangelion

Again, if you saw any of these in English, you didn't see them. English dubs suck. Also, if you think Gundam sucks because you saw Gundam Wing and thought it was gay...don't judge the series because of Gundam Wing. Gundam Wing sucks too. Only stuff from the UC universe isn't for kids.

Also...watching anything ending with -mon...well, I don't think I have to say it.

oh yes, dub sucks. I watch all the Japanese animation on Chiense subtitle. I think Chinese translation is closer than English.

Or you can learn Japanese and get the real meanings. There are phrases in Japanese that do not translate properly into any language. Yes, I read Chinese subs too before I learned Japanese. I was talking about English subs because a majority of people here don't speak either.

And Gundam Wing is lame. C'mon...5 kids take on a billion? No frickin' way. Only the UC universe series is good. Anything from AC or AU is weird.

BTW, Bersers is great, but I hated the ending... they ruined everything!!! (good ending, but its not what I wanted *sniff* ).

it was clearly japanese because they all had those really big strange hair dooooos and the really big eyes, lots of flashy lights that cause seizures (shut up i know i suck at spelling ) and when they talked it would sometimes stop leaving them with their mouths very wide open and the scene would move around as if a camera moving around the person and sometimes it would show a still frame then zoom out

it's really like that Pokemon show sort of, got loaded and watched it, blew my mind!

seriously, if anyone thinks a dub is better than the sub, that just shows that they aren't in tune to the japanese anime sub-culture. when your sense of humor adapts and is assimilated by their culture, there is no way you can watch a pos dub. one important rule of anime: a translated, edited version will never be better than the original.

the bebop dub is in the tolerable category. some of the va's are acceptable, but some are outright out of place, like ed. omg... so wrong after watching how it's suppose to be like.

that is so not true. accuracy of subs are far better also, i've seen some anime sub vs dub where they clean things up for the dub, its sad.

Heeeeeeelllllllllll no. J-spec anime is ALWAYS better than American edited junk. No exceptions.

Perhaps they are better as actors but their voices NEVER fit.
