any GOOD CPU fans??

i need a CPU fan that isn't too loud but still is good quality.. i heard that globalwin is a good brand.. other then that i have no clue.

Globalwin and Swiftech are great brands.

Personally, however, I use Thermaltake Volcano 6 Cu+ HSFs in my dualie AMD rig. They're not the best, but for $10 a piece they're pretty good. Not all that loud either.

BTW, I buy my cooling stuff at Sidewinder. They carry a lot of hard-to-find stuff (like Delta fans and Swiftech/Globalwin bare heatsinks) and their prices are good.

thermalright ax7 with a quiet panaflo on it if you're looking for athlon

retail hsf for p4 northwood works well

For P3 or AMD, the Thermaltake 6cu is one of the best fans for the money, like electrode mentioned. The non-plus version is very quiet as well (minimal hit to performance). Globalwin has issues with bad clips and tend to pretty loud, most of their models use the Delta screamer. To get both overclocking performance and low noise at a very reasonable cost, the Alpha 8045 with a Panaflo L1A cannot be beat.

Globalwin is a decent brand, nothing exciting though

Personally Im partial to Plycon.com for all my cooling needs, ive spoken to the owner and he is a VERY nice guy... Bought from them numerous time, with great prices...

Check out Overclockers.com , they have lots of information on heatsinks and fans. They test A LOT of them.
