Any hotel chains with decent gyms?

It's going to take 4 or 5 days, and I'd like to work out on the road since I get very sluggish and tired when driving all day


Any hotels with decent workout facilities? All the ones I've seen are at best a joke

If you're planning on staying at budget hotels then you'll most likely find a treadmill and a bike.... sometimes weights.

If you stay at bigger/pricier hotels then you might have better luck.

But from my experience, it varies so much that your best bet is to call ahead and ask what they have.

It's pretty obvious that if you stay at a nice ($$$) place, you'll get a nice gym.

Not always. I've stayed at a few really nice hotels that didn't even have a gym.

But I've also stayed at really nice hotels that would bring a treadmill or bike to your room if you didn't want to go down to the gym.

NP... It doesn't happen often... and hasn't happened recently, but when it comes to Hotels... I take nothing for granted.

If I'm going to a hotel I've not been to before I carry my own shampoo and soap....cause you never know when your hotel will not provide them. No matter how much you're payin.

It still kills me that, in general, the more you pay for the room, and the nicer the hotel is, the less you get in terms of "freebies".

I'll pay $150/night to stay at a nice Hilton, and have to pay $10/day for high speed internet, $1.00 everytime I dial the phone, and who knows how much for breakfast there... but I can go down the street to the Hampton Inn (same Hilton chain) and for $60/night and get free internet, free phone calls (local) and a free breakfast.

Makes no sense to me. lol

i like staying at lowes and four seasons, both typically have nice gyms. of course ritz have nice ones too but they are expensive.
