I should have kept alot of my revised and arabian nights packs unopened.
The new cards are better than most stuff from 2005-2008. I played from Revised to Tempest, came back during Ravnica block which is my favorite, and quit once it got to Shards.
I love to play it but I'm too old to invest too much time with my friends who now have families. I have a fiance and I won't even dare show the cards to light. I kept all my stuff because I don't think I can get much money out of it and it might be something me and the kid might play.
Of all toys I had growing up, I still have all magic cards. Videogames are a dime a dozen and can be played on all sorts of different formats, something about paper cards in this digital age still holds something special to me.
Although I tried MTGO, it's too pricey unless you build a whole deck of commons. The access is great, if I was stationed overseas I would probably play it.
Sealed tournaments is about the only thing that interests me, reason why is because of the internet. Now everybody knows what people are playing and deck strategies, you see alot of copies and cards sky rocket in price. When I played at my local comic book store, back in the late 90's people all had different ways to design decks and it was fun.
